Hello Friday! It’s been a really good day today! Scroll on down to see all the fun that we’ve had this week! (:

1) The ability to pay it forward

Jr’s Firefighter book that he has to have read by the end of the semester.

When I was going to school back in 2015, school is pretty much all that I did for those three months. If I wasn’t in the photo lab I was out taking pictures, working on homework, learning Chemistry, eating or sleeping. Because I wasn’t able to help out with the housework due to my school load, the rest of the family picked up the slack.

Since Bradley started school last week he’s been pretty busy and tired. Very tired. Getting up at five AM and being physically active most of the day  and then coming home and working on homework will wear a body out quickly. So, just like back in 2015 the rest of the family has picked up the slack.

It takes a bit of adjustment when starting a new schedule but so far we’re starting to work most of the kinks out and should be good to go by Monday…(Hopefully)!

2) Working on my art gallery stuff

I’ve Finally made up my mind about the vast majority of the photos I’m going to send in to the Gift Gallery. And if you know me personally you know that I am highly, highly indecisive; so this is a pretty huge accomplishment! Add on to that the fact that I’ve got a good bit of it made so far and you’ve got a recipe for a happy girl! Now, I still have a lot left to do but I’ve got a really good head start and should finish up most of it this weekend provided I’m able to make up my mind on the last two pictures I need out the 3,000 ish I have… 🙂

3) A fun Friday

My Dad’s Aunt called a little while ago and said that she has my Great Grandfather’s old tiller that was bought in 1970 (ya’ll she STILL has the original receipt), (:  and she thought we might want it. So, we hitched up the trailer and went on a little road trip to pick it up!

The original receipt from 1970!

It was nice getting to visit with her. I hadn’t seen her in several years and enjoyed sitting in her kitchen sharing stories, laughing, eating apple pie cookies and drinking sweet tea. I’m looking forward to the next road tip to Indiana! (:

Breakin’ it in! (:

Then we’re going to watch State Fair and eat all sorts of yummy fair food for dinner! Most of the county fairs around our area are wrapping up so we thought that August would be a good month for it.  I don’t think any of us have seen the movie yet, but the snippet that was shown on an old M*A*S*H” T.V. show looked pretty good. So, that’s the plan. If you wish to see updates be sure to follow me on Instagram!
