Our Daily Blessings! (:

Well hello there! I hope that you’ve had a great week. We’ve still been pretty busy but that’s slowly coming to an end within the next week or two. Thankfully, but now it’s time to take a minute to count our blessings! Are you ready? Scroll on down to read more!

1) Thanksmas is this weekend!

For the past several years my Dad’s mom and step-dad have visited us in late November/early December to do a combined Thanksgiving and Christmas celebration. Tomorrow is when all the fun begins! We make a Thanksgiving type dinner (our family prefers Turkey over ham), exchange gifts, watch a Christmas movie or two, and depending on the weather we may go do something Christmas-y.

2) A brand new chapter

Kaylee and Drew_with Blog URLIn August of 2012 my Great-Grandmother suddenly passed away. We all agreed that it was like putting down a really great book. And none of us were ready.

But this new book has ushered in a lot of good and several new traditions. We rent a hall for Thanksgiving and make crafts or color. Christmas is now spent playing games of Lazer Tag together as a family and we now do Crazy Santa gifts…often fighting over the homemade salsa or chocolate covered cherries. We have cousins graduating college, getting big person jobs, and their own apartments. And now the family is officially growing! My older cousin Kaylee and her fiance Drew are now planning a January wedding!

This new chapter although different isn’t so bad after all…

CONGRATULATIONS KAYLEE AND DREW!!!

3) More open doors

I’ve had quite a few people ask me how my art gallery stuff is going so I thought I’d give you all a little update. It’s going really well and it’s awful early in the season so I’m excited to see what happens now that December is upon us and holiday parties are coming up. (:

I’m also thankful that God continues to open doors where my photos are concerned. Earlier this week I was presented with another opportunity to get my work out there. I’ve still got quite a bit of researching and planning ahead of me but so far it looks really promising…I’m anxious to see what that brings and how all the pieces are going to fit together. But I know that God is faithful and will guide me each and every step of the way…Big things are on the horizon and I’m ready!

What are some of the blessings that you’ve noticed in your life this week? I’d love for you to share them in the comments below. I hope that y’all have a great weekend!

Until next time,

Bailey Sue
