Ohmygoodness! It’s been a little crazy around here lately! We’ve been unpacking, arranging, rearranging, and decorating this past week! The house is really starting to come together. The Christmas decorations are done and almost all of the family pictures are hung. One of the things that I love about this house is that it has a very cozy, rustic feel to it! It fits our decor perfectly!
Because our family is having a simple Christmas this year I thought that it would be fun to share a bit of our Christmas decor with you!
Due to the way that our fireplace is designed we were not sure whether or not we would be able to hang the stockings above the fire. So Mom came up with this brilliant idea with a little help from Grandma

The dining room is one of my favorite rooms in the house! I absolutely love this brick wall. And as a bonus, it looks like a greeting card when you look in from the outside! (:
I hope that you have enjoyed seeing some of our simple, rustic Christmas. Although this year is different for us in many ways, it has been nice to simplify and realize what is really important.
