Happy Friday! I am SO thankful that it’s Friday. The past couple of weeks have felt really off and I’m anxious to have some time later today and tomorrow to get some stuff back to normal. As off as the past couple of weeks have felt I’m also thankful for all of the blessings that I’ve noticed this week.
1) Hiking with a Friend
Monday a friend and I went hiking at a local nature center that I had never been to before. It was absolutely beautiful! We hiked for a couple of hours enjoying the scenery and chatting. Then on the way back to my house we stopped to get some shakes at a new-to-me ice cream place. Of course I had to get the peanut butter one and it was delicious!

2) Working on new Merchandise
This is something that I find equally exciting! I’m beginning work on 2 new designs coming to the shop within the next week or two so keep your eyes peeled. In the meantime why not take a look at what I already have available in the shop? 10% of all sales made now through June 15th will be donated to the tornado relief efforts in the Dayton area. (This shop was closed in 2020).
3) Using Fresh Herbs
Ya’ll I could kick myself for this one. The other night we were able to use several different kinds of herbs from our herb garden for dinner. However, I managed to FORGET to take a picture of my plate to show you all! 😡 So you’ll have to settle for a view of the herb garden. But I am thankful that we’re finally starting to be able to use some of our produce! It’s just a taste of the things to come this Fall and I can’t wait!!
