Praying Hands over an open Bible

Our Daily Blessings

We’ve made it to the end of another week. How has your week been? Mine has been good. I’ve noticed that there are blessings in every day if you just take the time to look. Here’s some of the daily blessings that I’ve seen in the past week.

1. God’s Power Over Our World

I’m very thankful that God loves us as much as He does. He has the ability to see into the future and know what will happen before we go through it. I’m thankful that He not only knows what is going to happen but He walks with us through the future day by day. He understands what’s it’s like to be human. He knows that we have fears and He works to assure us again and again throughout His word that He is there for us and that no matter what we do He loves us unconditionally.

2. Answered Prayers

I’ve been praying a lot lately about decisions that I have to make regarding starting my business and the fears that are associated with this big jump. But God has been faithful to assure me that I am on the right path and He has answered some really big prayers this past week. He has been guiding my steps and showing me the way to go day by day. And for that I am thankful.

3. Opportunities to Grow

I was telling Mom earlier this week that I just wanted something to do during my day aside from what I already have going on. I hadn’t really prayed about it like I should have but it was really just a thought. Yesterday God provided an answer to a prayer that I didn’t pray. He gave me an opportunity to do something a little different two days a week. (: I am so thankful to be able to grow from this opportunity and shine the light of Jesus to those around me.

4. Being a part of History

I am thankful to take a part in history today. Since 10 am this morning we have had live coverage of the inauguration on the T.V. It has been fun to watch history being made. Regardless of political affiliation, it’s history being written by a loving God right before our eyes. I have been very thankful to see the amount of prayer that has been said over the nation as a whole and the President and those closest to him as he begins this new journey as the leader of the United States of America. It reminds me that it is very important to pray for God’s help and leadership for those in power.

What are some of the blessings that you have noticed in your life this past week? I’d love for you to share them in the comments below. I hope that you have a wonderful weekend seeing all of the blessings that God has showered on your life.

Until next time,

Bailey Sue
