Hello Friends! Welcome to February! It seems so crazy to me that we are already in the second month of 2017. It’s going SO fast. I’m so thankful that even though it’s going by quickly I’m still finding several things to be thankful for. Here’s some from this past week:
1) Getting into a routine
We have finally managed to get into some sort of a routine!! *commence victory dance* I have finally figured out how to do everything that I need to do in a day in a somewhat timely manner!! I have been able to include a couple of more things into my routine that are better for me personally. I find that I am feeling better mentally because I am being more physical and accomplishing more in a day!
2) Being caught up on Laundry!
Okay this is like a major victory dance!! I am actually caught up on laundry, I managed to do at least one load a day almost every day this week and finished the rest of it yesterday. (: I find that I’m not much of a goal-setting person but this year I decided that I was going to try to stay caught up on laundry and although I haven’t been perfect I am making loads of progress. (;
3) A BIG milestone
For those of you that may be new around here, I launched this blog on October 5, 2016. That was almost four months ago! Today marks an important milestone: 50 Posts on the blog! Now I know that most people wait to celebrate until 100 posts or subscribers, but in all honesty; I don’t have a lot of patience. So, I figured that I could go ahead and celebrate 50 posts. Seriously though, 50 is a big number, and considering I could never keep an updated journal as a child this is kind of impressive!
4) Snapping this picture
As I mentioned in yesterday’s post I haven’t been the best with my camera. I don’t take nearly enough pictures and usually end up creating excuses and talking myself out of practicing every day. But yesterday, I was quite pleased when I snapped this image! I was even happier that I shot it in Aperture Priority Mode. This basically means that I had some control over the final image and didn’t let the camera do all the work. (:
I hope that ya’ll have had a good week! What are some of the daily blessings that you have noticed in your life this past week? I’d love for you to share them in the comments below!
Until next time,
Bailey Sue
Hello Bailey!
I too am finding a contentedness to my position or duties in life. It sure has changed in our house. Going from younger children needing a Mom to maintain their life and every aspect to a wife position that once held something different has turned the page. My youngest have 2 more years high school anounderone graduates…and I have one going a direction it was not raised under.Through the last while I had felt very lost trying new things and those not playing out…to finding my place. In sll my searching I list sight of Jesus. Good thing He is merciful! Janurary I started mt 5:00 time with the Lord through this appointed time with God Ive learned my role is to glorify Him in all aspects which has brought me through some discontented areas. Tommorow I began chchangingy body and mind…so Im learning being content in an unconnected world is hard…with God however all things are possible!
Thanks Bailey Faithfully Yours

I agree completely; being content in a world that only knows discontent is very hard. I’m glad that you are able to spend time with God each morning and that He is helping you through each day.
