Our Daily Blessings

Happy Saturday ya’ll! Here’s some of my daily blessings from this past week.

As I mentioned in yesterday’s post I am very thankful that Southern Ohio got a couple inches of fluffy picture snow. I was very pleased with the way that most of the images turned out and very  thankful that God answered the prayer for snow and that He gave me another chance to take pictures of His creation.

A Step in the Right Direction

In an effort to start my own business I have had to really step outside of my comfort zone. I have read, watched videos, made phone calls, sent emails, and asked God for the wisdom to know the right steps to take. Recently I realized that I slightly overlooked an important step and immediately began to make the necssary contacts.  So, I sent an email out and waited for a response. Today, I recieved a response. I am going to be very honest: This was not the response I wanted to hear. It wasn’t negative, it just requires a little more time and effort on my part. Although I am frustrated at the waiting period required I know that this is the right path to take and am thankful to hear a response. At least it’s a step in the right direction.

The Challenges that Mold Us

I am thankful for these challenges that God has been giving me. Although they are irrating and annoying at times I know that He’s working on me. I am not a very patient person and I know that each of these challenges is intricately designed by a loving God who has the best plans in mind for my life. He sees the big puzzle and knows that in the end I will be more like Him. I just have to be patient and wait on His timing.

Water to Drink

Jar filled with waterOne of the really wierd things that I noticed while attending college is that most of the people I talked to forgot to eat!  When I was in school I would pack foods that I could eat one handed or on the move. So, I never fully understood how one forgot to eat. I, on the other hand, would always forget to drink enough water in a day. I just get busy and forget to take a drink. It got to the point where I was feeling very lightheaded and almost dizzy, and Mom and I then realized that I wasn’t drinking nearly enough water. This week I have been tired and sluggish. Part of this is due to a slight change in routine, but the majority of the problem is that I need to drink more. So, today I have been making a conscience effort to have a glass of water near me most of the time. I am very thankful that I have easy access to clean healthy water to drink.

I hope that y’all have a great weekend. If you live in a place that gets snow this time of the year I encourage you to get out there and just enjoy the beauty of the white snow (please make sure you bundle up first 🙂 What are some of the blessings that you have noticed in your life this past week? I’d love for you to share them in the comments below!

Until next time,

Bailey Sue
