“Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift.”
~2 Corinthians 9:15
This week has been a whirlwind; but God has been busy as usual creating so many good things along the way. Here are some of this week’s daily blessings!
1: God working out the house fiasco:
Prehaps the thing that I am most thankful for this week is the solution that God has worked out for our house. We placed an offer on a house that was accepted Wednesday afternoon and yesterday we closed on this house. We originally had 10 days to be out of this one but thanks to the generosity of the new owner we are able to rent this house for thirty days! That means that we are able to move from house to house instead of staying at an extended stay hotel for five weeks!
2: Celebrating with dinner out:
Yesterday we were all on pins and needles so to speak waiting to see how the house fiasco would unfold. Once we found out that we were able to stay here we all felt 10 pounds lighter, extremely thankful, and very tired so we decided to go to out for dinner to celebrate. We even got to get dessert too! (:
3: Echos in the house:
After making memories and learning lesssons in this house for 14.5 years we all thought that moving would be difficult. As we have begun paking everything but the bare neccessites we realized that the house is looking more like a house and less like home, and it’s starting to echo! :0 Even though there’s still a sense of sadness leaving someplace we’ve been for so long we are finding and learning that home isn’t the suff in between the walls it’s the people you share the walls with. (:
4: Playing with Trinity:
So, we’re getting a dog! One of the families at church have a dog that recently had puppies–9 of them to be exact. Because the puppy would be so young when we got it and we knew the family the dog was coming from we decided to take the plunge! Everyone, meet Trinity! We were able to go spend some time with her last night and love on her a little.
I hope that you all had a great week and were able to see some of the wonderful blessings that God has showered upon you and your family. I would love for you to share some of them in the comments below! Have a delightful weekend enjoying all that God has done!
Until next time,
