Happy Friday Ya’ll! I am very thankful for the blessings that I have experienced this week. This week was fun. There were challenges and there were joys. I noticed some of the little things and was able to take advantage of the really nice weather that we had yesterday. So, onto this week’s daily blessings
1) Having the windows open
We were able to open a few windows earlier this week. I have to say that I’m excited to see what late Summer, early Fall feels like with our 20 something windows open. Anyway, yesterday we had one of the kitchen windows open and were hanging out on the porch and Calico was hanging out in the window. She loved having the windows open.
2) Bright colored clothes
I have been very blessed with a lot of clothing. I am very thankful that I have multiple different outfits to choose from each day. I find it really nice that I am able to wear brighter colors when the sky is gray. I find that when it’s really dark and dreary out I like to wear something brighter; it seems to make my mood a little peppyer. I was able to do just that today.
3) Being able to listen to music
As I have said many times before. I love listening to music. I usually have some sort of music playing during most of my day. Today I was able to go upstairs and clean listening to some of my favorite songs. I was able to kill two birds with one stone; I cleaned my room and was able to get in a better mood.
What are some of the daily blessings that you have noticed in your life this past week? I’d love for you to share some in the commets below. Have a great weekend!
Until next time,
Bailey Sue
This may sound funny, but I considered it a blessing to be able to pull weeds in my flower beds! Last year, I got very behind in this task and it was much harder to catch up. Today, the sun was bright, but not too hot. The wind was blowing, but not too hard. The soil was soft and slightly damp, which made it easier to pull the weeds. I have put 5 bags of weeds at the curb!! And I even put down 5 bags of mulch. 🙂
That isn’t funny at all. In fact, I find it to be very encouraging. Pulling weeds is one of my least favorite tasks and you were able to make me wish I was out there with you-loved the way you were able to see the soil and described the beautiful weather.
