Hey, Ya’ll! I hope that you’ve had a great week. Here’s a few blessings from this past week that I’d love to share with you.
1) A new book in the mail:
A couple of weeks ago I signed up for a giveaway on Facebook for Matthew West’s new book
. I’m a big fan of Matthew’s music and I decided to enter. I figured what could it hurt? One of two things was bound to happen: 1) I don’t win and am out a few seconds or 2) I win and get a book for free that I was going to buy anyway. A couple of days later I found out that I had won the book! (Which is HUGE since I never really win any of those things!!!)
Since I have a reader or two that will probably read the book at some point in the near future, I won’t give too much away. (; All I’ll say is that the book is really really good and I believe that you should read it. It has helped me realize the way that Satan works to make me feel far away from God and the power and truth of the names that God has given me. (:
I haven’t finished it yet but I’m almost done with it and I love every bit of what I’ve read so far. (There’s a pretty good chance that by the time you read this I will have finished the book…) (:
2) Louis, Louise, & LaBlue:
So, we’ve made a few new friends in the past week or two. It seems that there are a lot more birds that visit us here than at the old house which is perfectly fine with me! We’ve had a male and female Cardinal picnicking and a Blue Bird sitting on the wire. We decided to name them (we name pretty much everything around here…) So, Louis and Louise are the male and female Cardinal respectively and LaBlue is the Blue Bird… I hope to be able to photograph them in the near future and share those with you. I’m hoping to make an attempt next week when it’s a bit more sunny and warm outside.
What are some blessings that you have noticed in your life this past week? I’d love for you to share them in the comments below!
Have a great weekend!
Until next time,
Bailey Sue
