Our Daily Blessings

“Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good!”

~Psalm 34:8a

This week has been really good, the leaves are starting to really turn and the weather is following suit. Oddly enough it’s going to be in the 70’s most of next week, but hey, I’m not gonna complain because come mid-January I’m probably going to wish for it to be this warm. (: Here’s three of this week’s Daily Blessings.

SOUP SEASON IS FINALLY HERE!!! (:

If you couldn’t tell by the heading I LOVE soup. It’s my go-to comfort food, especially when the days grow chilly and the nights cold I crave a hot bowl of soup. In all honesty, I’m not very picky about what kind of soup it is; and I have yet to meet one that I don’t like. This week was excellent for soup. We had chili and bean soup earlier this week and we’re making taco soup for dinner. (: I’m always on the hunt for new soups to try, if you have a favorite I would love for you to share it in the comments below.

It’s cold enough for hot chocolate…

Sadly, I’m not much of a coffee drinker. Although I do like hot chocolate made with coffee instead of water or milk. I find that making it with coffee makes it less rich and I can feel less guilty adding coffee creamer. My favorite this time of year is the pumpkin spice. Are you a fan of all things pumpkin this time of the year?

Little touches of Fall…

Normally at this time of year the house is full of fall decor. This year we don’t have any decorations out due to moving, but we are determinded to enjoy the season despite our circumstances. We’ve bought apples, cider and pumpkin butter that give us a touch of Fall. Last weekend we took a walk around the nature preserve to enjoy the changing seasons, you can read about that here.

What are some of the blessings that you have experienced this past week? I’d love for you to share some of them below. I hope that you get out and enjoy the weather this weekend.

Until next time,

Bailey Sue
