Hey everybody! It’s Friday–That means it’s time to think back over our week and think of a few blessings. I’m sharing mine below and would love if you would leave yours in the comments below!
1) FALL IS HERE!
Actually it’s here officially at 4:02 pm, but I’m planning on celebrating all day long! The funny thing is the weather hasn’t gotten the memo that it’s Fall yet. Here in Ohio it’s forecasted to be in the mid 80’s for the next week. :/ But, we’re just gonna embrace it and be thankful for it–the last little bit of Summer weather. How do you plan on celebrating the arrival of Fall? One way you can celebrate is by visiting my shop here and purchasing a fall product to use everyday! 🙂
2) Celebrating my 21st Birthday with family
I am very thankful that I was able to celebrate my 21st birthday with my family. On my actual birthday I just celebrated with my immediate family. On Wednesday I had a sudden surprise enter the kitchen…
I was sitting at the kitchen table waiting on the oven to preheat and cook lunch. While I was waiting I scrolled through Facebook and was watching a business-related video with my back facing the driveway when Mom walked past. I seriously thought nothing of this. Then there was this noise—still didn’t think it was any big deal UNTIL I looked up and my Grandparents were suddenly standing there! They had decided late Tuesday night to come down and surprise me for my birthday. I’m still super stunned that I had no idea what was going on and didn’t hear the car door… We visited for a few hours and then we went to Cracker Barrel and had dinner! Grandma even told the waitress that it was my birthday so she brought me a free ice cream sundae (which was really good, by the way)! 🙂
3) Golden Hour Photography
This morning while Trinity was eating breakfast I decided to run outside for a few minutes and get a couple of pictures. I had heard other photographers talk about the “golden hour” which is that little bit of time right after sunrise and right before sunset when the light is at its best. I was pleasantly surprised by how soft the light was and just how easy it was to get pretty pictures. I didn’t stay out there long but here’s a couple of my favorite pictures.
