Praying Hands over an open Bible

Our Daily Blessings! (:

Welcome to the first Friday of February! I can’t believe that we’re already 1/12th of the way through the year…So, in celebration of it being a Friday and all I’d love to share a few of this week’s blessings with you.

1) God’s guiding hand through open doors

Recently I had a new opportunity presented to me. I took it and as I began my research I realized that this was indeed a very good opportunity but not for the original reason that I had thought. I’m thankful for God’s hand guiding me and showing me the way to go. As I’ve moved forward I also learned that there’s a few more doors that are opening for me as well. There’s still a lot more to do but I’m thankful to keep moving the right direction.

2) Sunshine

The weather has been CRAZY here. One day it’s close to 50° and the next it’s 30°. But, hey, that’s Ohio for you! I’m thankful that despite the weather’s ups and downs there are still things that we can count on each day. God will always love us. He’ll always be with us. There’s always a rainbow after the rain and eventually the sun will come out again.

3) A Praying Supportive of FamilyPraying Hands

In the last few weeks our family (both immediate and extended) has had some challenges. There’ve been procedures and sickness, work changes, and minor health concerns. But through it all one of the most uplifting things to see has been everyone rallying around to pray for each other. A group text goes out updating everyone of a prayer request or problem and then everyone responds some say that they are praying and others volunteer to help in some of the smallest ways. Other times we just notify the family “informant” (;  and will get a follow up call from another family member just checking in to see how we’re doing. We’ve even extended this prayer chain to the other side of the family at times as well. When a health concern or situation arises with an in-law of the extended family the same response is given. Despite our differences at times we can all agree that there’s a God who loves and helps His people and we try to do the same.

What are some of the blessings that you’ve noticed in your life this past week? I’d love for you to share them below! Have a great weekend!

Until next time,

Bailey Sue
