Hey everyone! I hope that you’ve had a great week! It’s the first Friday of Spring! That’s something to celebrate! Evidently we’re supposed to get some snow over the next couple of days; but now that it’s Spring it won’t stay around too long!
Let’s take a look back over the previous week and find some of the little blessings that it contained!
1) Our cherry trees are in bloom
A couple of weeks ago we bought a couple of cherry trees. We decided to sit them in the dining room until we could get outside to plant them; and then as Ohio is known for: the weather turned colder. So, we kept them inside a little while longer until it wasn’t quite as cold. But in the meantime, the trees started to bloom! So, for the time being, our dining room is evidently a cherry orchard! Now if only we could figure out how to water them…
2) Tech issues FINALLY fixed
So, earlier this week I realized that there was a really BIG tech issue going on with my blog. I made several phone calls only to no avail–those I asked couldn’t tell me what was causing the issue let alone how to fix it. So, I reached out to a tech company and they fixed the issue but I wasn’t understanding how to prevent it from happening again. So, I decided to check out YouTube. And you know what? I had figured out exactly what I was doing wrong in a little over three minutes time!! 🙂
I’m thankful for all of the people that we’re very kind and gracious to a very frustrated girl. I’m also thankful that there’s people that are really good at fixing techy issues, and that although YouTube can be really addicting and a bit of a time waster there is SO much useful information on how to fix some very minor tech issues very easily!
3) An encouraging night out
After a very long and stressful few days, it was really nice to get out for a little while last night. We were invited by some other homeschooling friends of ours to a local homeschool play. This year they preformed, “The Suessical”. And they did a GREAT job. It was fantastic. I’d seen a few of them over the years and this one was one of my favorite!!
Y’all, let me tell you: If you ever have the opportunity to go see “The Seussical” I HIGHLY recommend it!
I LOVED IT! I’ve always loved musicals but this one was very fast-moving and quite thought-provoking and encouraging. Stay tuned, because on Thursday I’ll be sharing some lessons that I’ve learned from watching this musical…
What are some blessings that you’ve noticed this past week? I’d love for you to share them in the comments below!
Have a great weekend!
Until next time,
Bailey Sue
