Our Daily Blessings! (:

Welcome to your Friday! I hope that you’ve had a great week! it’s been pretty busy and exciting around here lately. We’re finishing up our busy season and getting ready to work on some projects around the house. I’m really excited to to see where this Summer takes us and all the opportunities that await us. But, for now, let’s see what God has been up to this week and some of the blessings that He’s given.

1) The gift of Laughter

I don’t know about you but I love to laugh! It feels really refreshing and just like a breath of fresh air after a long day to laugh over a good joke or something funny that someone said. The past couple of weeks our family has just been able to laugh at some of our different conversations. It’s not just the occasional “He-He” or chuckle. This is like the “It’s so funny but I gotta stop laughing because my side hurts so bad” kind of laugh. And you know what? It feels SO good. I love that I have been given a family that I can laugh with. We have our own inside jokes and things that we really only understand. It makes me smile just thinking about it. What’s something that you’ve laughed about this week? I’d love for you to share in the comments below!

2) Getting to catch up with some family

Due to crazy schedules and various bouts of illness we’ve not been able to see extended family from my mom’s side since Christmas. This weekend though we’ll get to see SOME of them. And I’m really excited. This weekend is something that several of us look forward to every year. As time has gone on we’ve made some changes and have cut back a little. It’s still something that has given each of us joy and hope in various ways. It’s given each of us opportunities that we wouldn’t have gotten otherwise. We’ve been able to create so many good memories and I look forward to what this year will bring.

3) An Opportunity to help those in need

In a few weeks our family will be participating in a program called Walk4Water. We walk and raise money to build wells in countries where access to clean, safe drinking water is rare. Our Church’s goal is to raise enough money to build one well. You can read more about the program here. If you’d like to get involved and donate you can do so here.

** NOTE: I am NOT making any money from your donations, all the money raised goes directly to help provide wells and water filters for those in need.**

What are some blessings that you have noticed in your life this past week? I’d love for you to share them in the comments below! Have a great weekend!

Until next time,

Bailey Sue
