Hello and happy Friday! I hope that you’ve had a wonderful week. We’ve been pretty busy around here. Rearranging and organizing, working and enjoying the great outdoors. Here’s a few blessings from this past week.
1) Being able to take work outside(:
It’s been really sunny and warm most of this week so I decided to take some of my more unpleasant work activities outside and mix in some fun. I was really pleased at how much I was able to get done. I still have a ways to go but I’m taking it one step at a time and trying to be patient.
2) A NEW grill
So, we bought a new grill and this one doesn’t shoot flames 2 feet high…So, that’s a good thing. One of our Christmas traditions is to grill steak for Christmas Eve dinner. This past year we ended up using our indoor griddle…You’d be surprised what all you can do on that thing. Since the weather has finally broken we decided to purchase a new one. And it works great. (: So, let the outdoor cooking commence! What are some of your favorite things to cook outside? And what is something that you’ve cooked outside that you normally don’t? We’ve cooked spaghetti, pizza and made some salsa to can…
3) Tomorrow’s the Day!
Tomorrow our family will be walking for a cause. We’re walking to raise money to build wells for those in third-world countries where the citizens have to walk an average of 4 miles to get dirty water that often makes them sick.
