Our Daily Blessings!

It’s Friday and that means that it’s once again time to take a look back at some of the little blessings that God has given us this past week!

1) A rainy day

It’s the first day in a while that it’s been fairly cloudy and rainy most of the day. But today I’m thankful for the rain. This time of the year we have the tendency to either be busy outside working on projects or busy running around with various errands.  The rain forces us to stay inside and take it easy. I’m thankful that God gives us time to rest and relax even amid the busyness of our days–if we take the time to look for it. (And as a bonus everything gets greener!)

2) NEW socks!

Anyone that knows me knows that I have small feet. Being only 4′ 10″ it’s probably a good thing; but I sometimes have a hard time finding socks that fit my feet. Usually they are either way to big with the heel going a few inches above my ankle or so small they’re slipping off. Although yesterday I was very thankful to be able to find 5 NEW pair of socks that actually FIT my small feet. 🙂

3) LESS laundry

It’s getting warmer outside which means that we are finally able to wear shorts, t-shirts, and open toed shoes. That means that there’s less bulky sweaters, sweatshirts, and jeans. All of this translates into LESS laundry! I’m having to do only a load or two a day at most instead of a minimum of two to stay caught up. 🙂 And I’m also really thankful that Bradley was able to get another uniform shirt. Being at the station three days in a row working, training, or running with a crew makes it a little challenging to make sure that his shirt is clean the next day when he doesn’t get home until late some days! Now, that he has two I don’t have to scramble the night before to get it in and out of the washer before 11:30 pm. 🙂

What are some of the blessings that you have noticed in your life this week? I’d love for you to share them in the comments below! Have a great weekend!

Until next time,

Bailey Sue
