Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to your Friday! I hope that you’ve had a great week! I wanted to let ya’ll know that I had EVERY SINGLE INTENTION of posting an update yesterday but I had a minor tech issue that prevented it. But thankfully it has now been fixed! So, on to this week’s blessings!
1) Conquering the fitted sheet
I don’t know about you but aside from cleaning the cat litter I really dread folding sheets, large blankets, and especially the fitted sheet. Exactly how does one fold a fitted sheet so that it doesn’t look like it’s just been rolled into a ball? And if you’re short like me how do you accomplish this while maintaining to keep the sheet off the floor?
The other day I managed to do both with the help of our ping pong table. I don’t know why it never seemed to work before but at this point I don’t really care. They’re nice and neat and I accomplished my goal! 🙂
2) Finding the Joy in Photography again
Ever since I had my simple victory in photography this week I actually look forward to taking more pictures and learning new techniques. I spent SO long dreading lesson #2 that when I actually figured it out I felt like I’d accomplished my goal! There’s still so much to learn and now I’m excited to see how far I’ll go each week. I find that I’m no longer dreading taking pictures or picking up the camera. Getting back to photography and learning new things (and understanding) them feels good! I’m also looking forward to adding a little something new here soon, so make sure you stay tuned! 😉
3) The Lightning Bugs have returned!
One of the things I love about summer is seeing all the little lightning bugs out as the sun goes down. Last night we took the back back way home and passed a few open fields and you could see the little lights buzzing through the fields. It made me simile and remember the days of running around the backyard trying to catch them.
What are some of the blessings that you have noticed in your life this past week? I’d love for you to share them in the comments below! I hope ya’ll have a great weekend!
Until next time,
