Hello and welcome to your Friday! I hope that y’all have had a great week… Ours has been good but very busy…We’re finally starting to settle into more of a if only we could slow down a little…Since it’s Friday that means that it’s once again time to count our blessings! Are you ready??

1) Our Health…

The three of us kids had to go and get our physicals on Monday…I’m not a huge fan of those, but none-the-less it needed to be done! So, I’m thankful that we all got good reports and that everything went smoothly! (:

2)  Our hair came home!

Okay, I know that sounds really weird but bear with me for a minute. Years ago, Mom found this one particular hairstylist that she loved! We’ll call her Ms. J. We’ve known Ms. J for years. I’ve known her my whole life… You could go to her and show her a picture of what you wanted your hair to look like, she’d snip away and once she was done your hair would look almost identical to the photo you showed her! She could cut my very straight and fine hair just as well as she could cut Mom and Jojo’s wavy or curly hair. And we always enjoyed the feeling of a good haircut when we left…

Well over the years we stopped going to see Ms. J and went somewhere else. Well, this new place wasn’t totally terrible but they weren’t the greatest either. They cut my hair and Jojo’s hair the EXACT same way even though our hair textures are polar opposites. And we always left a little dissatisfied with the final result. So a few weeks ago we checked out a salon that Mom went to years ago and guess who we ran into?? Yep, Ms. J!! So in the course of the past few weeks all of us have gotten our hair cut by Ms. J just in time for the Holidays! We were just saying that it felt like we came home, back where our hair belongs! (: I had my haircut yesterday and I LOVE the result–she did an excellent job cutting it! (:

3) The Start of it all!

So, last week we started listening to Christmas music, and this week we’ve been trying to get some Christmas shopping done. While out and about yesterday we ended up adding a couple of Christmas albums to our collection! (: We’re planning on decorating here soon…Hopefully sometime within the next week. We love to be able to turn all the lights on right after Thanksgiving dinner while watching “Dr. Suess’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas“…

And this weekend officially kicks off our festivities! On Saturday we’re going to a Holiday Yuletide shopping event in the downtown part of one of the nearby cities followed by a Horse parade. We went for the first time last year and we really enjoyed it so we’re all looking forward to going back again.

What’s some of the blessings that you’ve noticed in life this past week? I’d love for you to share a few in the comments below! Have a great weekend!

Until next time,

Bailey Sue
