Hello and happy Friday! I’m pretty excited about this week’s blessings. For starters, I don’t have to leave my house today, and that my friends, is cause for celebration! (: Are you ready to dive into the rest of this week’s blessings?
1) Sleeping in
Given the opportunity I’d love to sleep in until I wake up. As a child I was always an early bird. Now, I dearly miss the days when I could sleep in. With our current schedule I’m up most mornings at 5:45 A.M, at the latest it’s 6:30 A.M.
This week since Bradley has been on Spring Break I’ve been able to sleep in until 8 A.M. And it feels SO good! I’m thankful that even though I’m sleeping in I’ve still had very productive days! Sadly, Monday we’re back to rising before the sun after loosing an hour of sleep…
2) New Product Shopping Spree
I don’t know if you happened to see my post earlier this week, but I was able to go on a little shopping spree, getting a bunch of things to make some NEW Spring product! I’m really excited to get my hands dirty and start making things again. I have a couple of new ideas in mind so that things can be made a little cleaner and easier. So, I’m anxious to try that out and see how this new system works.
3) The end of Winter?
I’ll be the first to tell you that although I don’t mind Winter I HATE this bitter cold. Wind chills in the single digits, temperatures barely reaching 20°, I’ll be in front of the fire if you need me for anything with a nice hot bowl of soup in a warm sweater.
Thankfully it’s looking like we’ll reach close to 70° next week! I’m SO excited about this! Not only are we out of the frigid temperatures, but provided it’s not raining or Daddy gets my spray booth built (He’s way better at the building projects/math aspect of life than I am) I should be able to actually make and spray some of the new product next week!
And let’s not forget about measuring the butterfly garden, planting a garden and being able to have bonfires and of course, cut wood…Spring is just around the corner and I can’t wait!
What are some of the blessings that you’ve noticed in your life this past week? I’d love for you to share them in the comments below! Have a great weekend!
Until next time,
Bailey Sue
