December has been full of Christmasy cheer and lots of blessings!
The first weekend of the month my Grandparents visited and we celebrated our annual Thanksmas celebration. We spent time together, made and ate really good food, and watched Christmas movies. Once it got dark out we went and walked around a local historical park looking at Christmas lights and learning some new-to-me local history. Bradley talked me into climbing the clock tower and the view from the top was amazing! Well worth the climb on the grated metal stairs.
We got together with friends, watched more festive movies, and played games. Attended the United States Air force Band of Flight Christmas Concert, and have been listening to Christmas music all month long!
Dad’s home for the next week and Bradley’s working today. Tomorrow we’ll be celebrating in style by watching “White Christmas” and roasting hot dogs over the fire! We’re just about done with all of the shopping–there’s just a few more things that we need to get before the big day. This week we finished the last of the wrapping too! Everything’s placed under the tree just waiting for us to open them.
As we celebrate yet another Christmas and soon thereafter welcome a new year and a brand new decade; I hope and pray that these next several days are filled with lots of joy, love, peace, and hope!
