Our Daily Blessings

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”

James 1:17

I figured with all of the negativity and sadness going on in the world around us we all need a little pick-me-up. So, each Friday I will try to list 3-5 blessings. Simple things  that I enjoyed, found encouraging or just general happy thoughts from the past week.

#1: Getting this blog online:

This is equally exciting and terrifing. I actually have people reading these thoughts of mine and liking them! :0 I am extremely thankful for the support of my family and friends thoughout this journey; and I’m even more thankful for God helping me each and everyday. When I launched this site Tuesday night I only had ONE glich. Out of the endless things that could have gone wrong I had to make ONE simple fix Wednesday morning that took 10 minutes max! (Thank you, Lord!). (:

#2: Lots of potential houses that we are falling in love with amid the fiasco:

So, we have 18 days until we have to be out of our house. We had a house that we had a contract on. Then yesterday we discovered that it was zoned commerical (grandfathered residential for the current owners) and we are unable to live there. Therefore we ended up spending the majority of the day yesterday looking at houses online. Thankfully we have a couple of houses that we LOVE. We’re not exactly sure what we are going to do yet but we have a couple of general ideas and we are very confident that God is in charge of this and WON’T leave us to live on the street.

#3: Approcahing Fall weather:

Fall is my FAVORITE time of the year! I love the sweaters, boots, jeans (most days), and pumpkins. I absolutely adore the changing leaves. It’s just so pretty and comfy outside. Although the weather has been a little more like Summer the past few days, Fall is definately in in the air. The mornings are chilly and the night comes sooner. I am really excited to see all of the really pretty fall colors and enjoy weather in the 60’s day after day, (:

What are some of  the daily blessings that you have experienced in your own life this week? I’d love for you to share them in the comments below! I hope that you have a wonderful weekend savoring all of the little blessings along the way!

Until next time,

Bailey Sue

  1. We had such a wonderful vacation. I feel so blessed to have a husband who works so hard for us to enjoy things like that. He always puts us first. And what a blessing we only lost one day at the beach because of the hurricane!!!
