Day # 1

Two years ago all of this was a dream. It was something that I eventually wanted to accomplish.

A year ago this became something to work towards. I didn’t know how long it was going to take or what exactly was involved; all that I knew was that I wanted to give it a shot.

Seven months ago this dream started to become a realilty when I launched this site.

Today is the two year anniversary since I graduated high school. At the time I was just so excited and relieved to be done. We ended the ceremony by playing

“…Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do; Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
~Philippians 3:13-14

April 11, 2016 I was offered the opportunity to try and start my own business and not work outside of the home. Six months later I am 100 posts into this blog and hopefully weeks away from opening an online shop! Sometimes when I look back over these last two years I see a lot of areas that I could improve on and things that I could do better. But then I am reminded that I’m a work in progress. We all have things that we could improve on and be better at–that’s just life.

I also see how much I’ve learned over these two years. I didn’t realize two years ago how much of life occurs after high school. I feel that I have learned a lot about who God is, how He sees me and what He wants me to do. And the best part is–this is really just the beginning. Every day is the first day of the rest of our lives. Let’s make the best of it! Being thankful for what we have and making the most of every opportunity that we have been given.

Until next time,

Bailey Sue
