“…and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
I’ve come to the point in all the planning and researching that it’s time to start acting on what I know. But to tell y’all the truth I’m a little worried. What if this doesn’t work out and I’m out thousands of dollars with no previous work experience? Or what if this does work out and I end up living my dream? Will the fulfillment of the dream be enough or will I feel like I haven’t really achieved what I wanted in the first place?
I guess you could say that I’m scared of both failure and success…
Last night I prayed about these feelings and this morning I spent time reading the Bible and praying. I believe that God may have been trying to tell me something while I was reading. I read Matthew 28 and was happy to discover this very simple truth: Don’t be afraid, I am with you.
The words “Do not be afraid” were mentioned two different times and the last verse reminded me that Jesus is with me always…”even to the end of the age”.
I would like to share some of the thoughts that I wrote down after finishing the reading with the hope that they may encourage you…
“…I think that these reminders are fitting for today as the time has come for me to step out in faith and start investing [more] into my business. Although I am afraid of many things I need to remember that God has a good plan for my life (Jeremiah 29:11) and that He is with me always. I AM NEVER ALONE (Matthew 28:20).”
Until next time,
