We had a Frost Advisory for last night and one for tonight. So, we’re busy trying to winterize as much of the homestead as we can. Thankfully it warms up a little next week so we have a little more time before it gets too cold to do anything.
Yesterday we went out for a little while in the morning before the rain to move several plants inside, harvest the very last of the garden, and clean out the rest of the bunny hutches. We’ve also been cutting at least one wheelbarrow full of firewood each day. I’m a little sad that the garden is done but I’m really looking forward to the last few months of the year. There’s so many fun things that I’m looking forward to such as going hiking this weekend, pumpkin carving next weekend, and of course the holidays rapidly approaching!
Speaking of the holidays I’ve got a little something up my sleeve for you guys! Last week I mentioned that I was working on a couple of projects? Well, this is one of them! I’ve created a FREE Gratitude Calendar–just for you!
When you sign up using the form above, you’ll get the FREE Blessed Beyond Measure Gratitude Calendar! It’s a simple calendar that enables you to take a couple of minutes each day during the month of November and record what your thankful for and the blessings that you’re surrounded with!
One of the things that I’m really thankful for this week is the ability to learn while growing my blog. At the beginning of my blogging journey, there were several techy things that I was scared of. I know that sounds weird considering that my job is online. But many of the programs available to help me grow as a blogger overwhelmed me and I never understood how they worked. I’m thankful that as I continue to grow my blog and try new things I’m not only learning to embrace some of that tech but I also have people that are willing to go above and beyond to help me understand how to use it!
Last night we watched “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”! Dad’s been home all day today, getting some running around done and finishing most of the homestead winterization projects. Bradley took and PASSED both of his A-Term Final Exams! And tonight once all the work is done, we’re making a batch of chili and watching Disney’s Sing-Along Songs–Happy Haunting!
I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend! Get outside and enjoy some of this Fall weather before it disappears!
“The earth has yielded its produce;
God, our God blesses us”

Until next time,
