After I made some inquiries about the legalities of starting a business, I was told that I need to think less and dream more. I already knew that I have a tendency to overthink EVERYTHING. In talking to me for maybe 30 minutes tops this man knew exactly what I wanted. Everything set up and PERFECTLY aligned BEFORE I take the plunge into the business world.
He affirmed what I was already starting to figure out: I was letting the legalities of starting a business stop me from dreaming about what I could achieve.
Starting a business is hard work, but if you’re in it solely to make money you won’t be satisfied. My success or failure isn’t determined by monetary gain or loss. My success is based on what Jesus did on the cross for me. He determines my worth not the amount of money in my bank account.
I encourage you to quit overthinking life. If you have been given a dream by God don’t let the legalities or fear of the unknown stop you in your tracks. Remember that He has NOT given you a spirit of fear, but one of power (I Timothy 1:7). He is with you in every step and will guide you in the way that He wants you to take.
