Hey Ya’ll! We’ve been really busy the past couple of days but there’s been quite a few wonders that I have noticed in the last week.
1) Pretty Little Flowers:
On Saturday we were doing some yard work for a friend and she graciously gave me permission to share her pretty flowers with you. She said that they are Primroses who happen to be very invasive. So, every so often she has to got out and make sure to pull them back so that they don’t take over her whole flower garden. I liked these flowers because the petals looked so small and delicate. I was able to get a few really good close ups with my phone.
In other news, we managed to get some curb appeal out front (YAY! More about this on Friday). Mom had just watered the plants as we were getting ready to leave and I noticed that the Petunias had some water drops on them and decided to get a couple of pictures. Again, these were just taken on my phone.
2) Another Sunset:
I love sunsets. The other night we were coming home and the sky was colored with another beautiful sunset. I naturally started taking several pictures and when I looked at them later I found this gem. I love the colors behind the flag. It’s almost as though the flag is silhouetted.
All of the photos that are in this post were taken with my phone. I say that to tell you that you don’t need a big fancy expensive camera to take great pictures. Sure there are some things that you can do with a DSLR that you can’t do with a cell phone but I do use my phone quite frequently and am usually pleased with the results.
