Sunset over flooded field

Wednesday Wonders!(:

Hey Ya’ll! I’m really sorry for being gone for so long. I had a friend over on Friday (more on that tomorrow); and yesterday I was helping clean out and organize our family’s attic. But I’m back today with a few wonders for you! So, here we go!

1) Beautiful Sunset After the Rain

Sunset over flooded fieldFriday it didn’t just rain, it POURED. But after the rain cleared we had this beautiful sunset. I took picture after picture while we were taking my friend home. This one’s my favorite. I believe that it’s the sun setting above a partially flooded field.

2) The Baby Toad

Camouflaged ToadJoJo and Mom found this little baby toad hanging out by the house last week. Just look how teeny he is! He loved to hop around and hide among the twigs on the ground. Because he’s so tiny he was really hard to spot. He was camouflaged with the ground… None the less I was still able to get a picture or two.

3) The Airplanes

Sky WritersOhio is known as the birthplace of Aviation. It’s also home to one of the Military’s air force bases and there’s a museum dedicated to our Nation’s air force history. We also have a yearly air show where some of the military’s best pilots preform. For the vast majority of my life I have lived very close to the airport, so every year for the airshow we’re able to get a pretty good seat from our  backyard. This year was no exception. On Sunday we were able to see the sky writers. These pilots do just what there name says: they write messages in the sky. It was actually really cool to not only see them do their thing but also to try and figure out what they were writing while looking around the trees.

What are some of the wonders that you have seen in your life this past week? I’d love for you to share them in the comments below!

Until next time,

Bailey Sue
