Happy Wednesday ya’ll! I hope that you have had a good start to the week. Ours has been busy but exciting… Let’s dive into some of the wonders that I have noticed this week.
1) Hail
Last week we had some Spring storms blow through the area. We looked outside and the deck was speckled with hail. Bradley went out and grabbed a handful to bring in so we could examine it (Somebody say “Science Experiment”?). I was surprized as I expected little balls of ice. Instead it was little cylinders of ice. It reminded me of those fancy refrigerators that have the built in ice machines. They seemed to be perfect uniform shapes too!
2) Slow Motion Fire Pictures
We had another fire outside. This time I noticed that as Daddy and Bradley threw wood on the fire there was a shower of sparks. I decided to attempt photograpghing it. And it worked. A little manipulation of the camera settings allowed me to be able to slightly drag the shutter and black out the background so that the fire looked like smooth lines.
3) The pretty moon
I don’t know what it is but I love sunrises, sunsets, and the moon. It never gets old… The other night i noticed that we had a full moon with a nice blue sky. I love the way that the barn and trees seem to frame the moon.
