wood to cut

Our Daily Blessings! (:

Happy Saturday! This week was a little challenging! We’ve had some big projects that needed to be done and some big decisions to make. But as usual God worked everything out just like He usually does! So, without further ado, here’s this week’s blessings!!

1) Cutting wood

wood to cutWe decided that it was time to finally cut, move and stack the 125ish skids that have been sitting in the front yard since the mid fall last year. Due to the winter weather, chainsaw issues and illnesses it’s been a little bit of a challenge to get caught up. We still have about a stack and a half to go but we are making a ton of progress! In all honesty, we’re all a little sore and tired from all of the hard work but it’s been worth it to see the progress.

2) Winter isn’t here to stay

Last week and even the early part of this week were quite nice and spring-like. And then Winter decided to remind us that he wasn’t quite done yet and gave us an inch or two of snow with some brutally cold temperatures! As much as I don’t like the snow and cold I am thankful for the reminder that Winter doesn’t last forever. The warmth will come again I just need to be patient. Thankfully most of the snow has melted and it’s just cold but all that means is that we get to enjoy our fireplace a little longer. And really, is that a problem?? I don’t think so.. 😉

3) A new haircut

Before and After haircutI’m also very thankful for a good haircut sale! Yesterday Mom and I were able to take advantage of a local haircut sale and get our hair spruced up for Spring! I ended up getting about five inches cut off. And as much as I love long hair I must say that I am thankful for the change. It’s nice to not have my hair pulling every time I try to get into a more comfortable position.

What are some of the daily blessings that you’ve noticed in your life this past week? I’d love for you to share them in the comments below! Have a great weekend!

Until next time,

Bailey Sue
